

After the rain. Although the weather was warm and sunny for much of the time, there was the occasional day of rain which turned the site into a quagmire. Excavating in these conditions was difficult and messy. This picture shows some of the bones of the lower jaw, the three large elements zig-zagging from the bottom left to the middle of the picture.
